Extended Description.

Perception is double sided. If India reveals anything, it is this. No matter the tragedy we find ourselves in, our perception transmutes matter into a mentality of beauty or suffering.

In one regard, these two girls are lost to the chaos of street-life, toxicity, and a fear and danger many of us will never come close to experiencing. But still, the girls sit idle. Peaceful. I watch them for a short time, no parents, no friends nearby. They work oblivious to the world around them. Calmly, and diligently they continue to plait their flowers in a pile of shit. I find this profoundly frightening and simultaneously beautiful.

What incredible power our minds hold to transmute our circumstances into mental states that supersede our physical conditions. While the object circumstances these children are in is horror, do they know it? Possibly their ignorance is salvation from such tragedy? But… I do not think this to be the case. I refuse to see such a state of mind as anything less than Nobel, and Masterful. Unconscious, perhaps. Surely such Nobel minds are headed for Svarga Loka, and beyond to Moksha.

Two girls in a gutter; two Nobel minds in the temple of life.
